About Cambridge Examinations

Cambridge Examinations is the longest-serving Authorised Centre to administer the University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations in Australia, and has an office in Sydney. All enrolments for Cambridge paper-based exams and enquiries come through the Sydney office.

Meet the staff

Clare McDowell is a Director of Cambridge Examinations Pty Ltd and oversees company operations.

Michael Bounds is a Director of Cambridge Examinations Pty Ltd. He looks after exam administration and IT matters.

Suzy Shortridge is the Centre Exams Manager with overall responsibility for exam administration.

Janet Gourlay looks after customer liaison, exam administration including venue hire.

Glenys Denton is available to help with any enquiries relating to the accounts.

There is also an extensive network of professionals across Australia who assist in running the exams, including the Professional Support Leader, the Team Leaders and Speaking Examiners. Coordination of the speaking examiners takes place every year in each centre ensuring the consistent and reliable administration of the speaking tests.
